faking cancer: what compels a person to pretend they're dying?
It seems Manti Te’o’s make believe girlfriend isn’t the only one faking cancer these days.
Whether seeking money, fame, or simply attention, healthy people are going to great lengths to seem sick. On the Internet, cancer fakers can hide behind staged and stolen photographs, phony Facebook profiles and anonymous message boards—all of which serve as convenient tools for con artists to prey on innocent, concerned people looking to help others.

Have you ever come across a cancer faker? Tell us your story... you just may end up on our stage!
