NYC Friends of Ricki Meetup
New York City’s Friends of Ricki Group will be part of PIX 11’s Health and Wellness Expo Saturday, October 27, and hosting a Meetup event with a seminar on “Your Mind, Body and Spirit, a Long Term Investment.”
PIX 11, the local New York television station (WPIX), is hosting their second annual Health and Wellness expo, and bringing together the top experts in the fields for an all-day, all-ages event. Presented by Lenox Hill Hospital, the day-long event offers fitness classes, seminars, health screenings, book signings, and giveaways such as an iPad. A few celebrities will be on hand including Real Housewives of New Jersey stars Kathy Wakile and Richard Wakile; New York Mets Ed Kranepool, Art Shamsky and Mr. Met; and PIX 11’s very own Dr. Steve, Jodi Applegate, Mr. G, Kaity Tong, Sukanya Krishnan, Tamsen Fadal, Lionel, Linda Church, Lisa Mateo, Greg Mocker, Help Me Howard, Mary Murphy, Marvin Scott, Dan Mannarino, Mario Diaz and Craig Allen.
The Ricki Lake Show’s Friends of Ricki NYC Meetup group were invited by PIX 11 to hold their own seminar on the subject. Friends of Ricki co-organizers Chantal Onelien and Marie Roker-Jones of the New York City Meetup will be leading the discussion on ways women and men should feel empowered while investing in a healthy way of life. The “Your Mind, Body and Spirit, a Long Term Investment” seminar will also explore healthy lifestyle tips for the entire family.
