People behaving badly is common place in real life, but more so on reality television. Has watching reality stars at their worst led to an even impolite society?
The Ricki Lake Show sent stand-up comic and actor Dwayne Perkins to M&M Soul Food Restaurant in Los Angeles to test people's reactions to an obnoxious customer. In the segment, the young man yelled across the room for a menu, let his cell phone ring incessantly, talked out loud on the phone, asked inappropriate questions, and just made a fool out of himself.
Surprisingly, only two customers spoke up while the rest watched in amazement and amusement.
