Treyvor-Martin-DC-sniper

Two women's lives changed after their loves ones made front page news. On Thursday, November 1st - Ricki Lake sits down with Sybrina Fulton, mother of slain Florida teen Trayvon Martin, and Mildred Muhammad, author of "Scared Silent" and ex-wife of the convicted and executed "D.C. Sniper" in a new episode of "Ripped From The Headlines."

On February 26, 2012 Trayvon Martin was fatally shot as he walked home from a trip to the local convenience story. George Zimmerman, the neighbor on trial for Trayvon's murder, has used Florida's "Stand Your Ground" law as his defense. Trayvon's grieving mother discusses the latest developments of the murder trial, and recounts the day she got the news.

John Allen Muhammad terrified the nation as the "DC Sniper," killing 10 and critically injuring three over a three week period. But his wife Mildred Muhammad, author of Scared Silent, says John was terrorizing her for years before he went on one of the most famous killing sprees in history. Mildred shares her story of how the community blamed her for her ex husband's actions, and how he terrorized her after their separation.

This is one show you don't want to miss.  Find out where to watch Thursday, November 1st.
