Ricki introduces us to the remarkable 7-year-old Tori currently battling NF-1, a fairly common genetic condition that's rarely spoken about.

Ricki first met the brave little girl and her mother Michelle when Tori visited the Dancing with the Stars show while Ricki was competing. Since then, Ricki and Tori's family have formed a special relationship.

Tori suffers from NF-1, or neurofibromatosis, a genetic condition which makes tumors grow along the nerve fibers. About 10% of youngsters and adults develop malignant tumors. It affects 1 in 3000 persons. According to Tori's doctor Dr. Vincent Riccardi, who also appeared on the show, kids with NF-1 can lead realistically normal lives.
